Frequently Asked Questions

  • Na, we have ways (non-permanent) of making your gear laden bike compliant.

  • Na, just come and ride. Race your mates/yourself/that other person over there, see who can clear the climbs, bomb the drops. Bring a trailside picnic, share in refreshments, HECKLE!, please heckle!

  • Probably around 3hrs.

No laps can be started after the winner has finished.

  • Somewhere mid-ish lap there will be some specialist ‘race lubrication’. Accepting said refreshment is optional, though non-participation may require you ride a bit further than other participants.

  • Yep, more the merrier, come cheer, heckle, have a picnic, etc…

Race side music, fancy dress, water pistols, silliness encouraged.

It is a bit of a trek from the event base to the race venue. Up some narrow lanes, with limited parking, but we can tell you how to get there.

  • We love non-racers to camp for free, it’ll help cover costs. After costs are paid out the left over money will go to charity, so think of it as a charitable donation.

  • Depending on how many entries we get, will depend on how much space we’ll have for extra people.

If you want to come along for the craic, see if you have friend who can add a camping ticket to their entry, if no luck there, get in contact and we’ll see what we can do.

  • We’ll do our best to provide options that cover most dietary needs.

The entry process will allow you select key options.

  • Volunteers - Help smooth out the event running, Course marshalling etc.

Event Sponsorship - All profits go to charity, so if you’d like to help cover our costs, to more we can give present to our charities.

Raffle Goods - We’ll be having a big raffle, all the money goes to Charity. Goods don’t have to be bike related.
